While working on a painting some years back, I came across a few symbols buried in the folds of my psyche. I rendered them, mirrored them, reflected them, and combined them to create a number of variants. The version shown was drawn and shaded with graphite, scanned, colored digitally, and printed on cold-press watercolor paper. Another version was made using oil paints and canvas paper. That version is framed and lives in a grand old home in the Carollton Neighborhood of New Orleans.
